About BOPHELONG Children's home
Why we started?
During the AIDS endemic a lot of households were led by children due to the parents passing away. After establishing the hospice, the was a need to take care of the kids who lost their parents to terminal illnesses. The Bophelong Children's Home started in 2008 as a project ran by Charity & Faith Mission Church. The home started with four children as a place of refuge and therefore expanded into a children's home housing up to 30 children
Our Vision & Mission
Our Vision is to provide a positive and safe environment in which orphans and vulnerable children can feel safe, as a basis for social and professional development and also to render therapeutic services aimed at changing the lives of the children.
Our Mission is to provide a loving and caring home, Parental Support and attention to those who have missed it while growing up
